Job Title: Business Development Manager - Structural Steel

Location: M R Enterprises, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh

Experience - 3+ Years

Salary – As per Industry Standard and Experience.

M R Enterprises is a steel manufacturing firm that produces quality steel through hot charging and billet reheating steel making process under its flagship brand “M R GOLD”. M R Enterprises manufactures MS Strips which is used as a raw material for Pipe manufacturing industries and Structural Steel (MS Angle, MS Channel and MS Beam) used for fabrication and various other applications. M R has been in business since 2019 and sells their products Pan India through various traders, dealers and brokers.

Job Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new customers, managing key accounts, and achieving revenue targets in the structural steel segment. The role requires strong market knowledge, relationship-building skills, and the ability to close high-value B2B deals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
  • Increase market share in structural steel products (Beams, Channels, Angles)
  • Develop new customers (contractors, fabricators, infrastructure companies, builders)
  • Expand business in new territories

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with key customers
  • Site visits and customer meetings as required
  • Handle negotiations and finalize commercial terms
  • Resolve customer complaints and coordinate with dispatch

3. Market Development

  • Identify new business opportunities and large projects
  • Monitor competitor pricing and strategies
  • Track steel price trends and market demand
  • Participate in exhibitions and industry networking

4. Pricing & Commercial Handling

  • Prepare quotations and follow-ups
  • Coordinate with accounts for payment recovery
  • Ensure healthy credit control and collection cycle
  • Maintain profit margins as per company policy

5. Reporting & MIS

  • Daily sales reporting
  • Maintain customer database
  • Forecast monthly demand
  • Submit market intelligence reports

Key Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of structural steel products
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Understanding of credit risk and payment recovery
  • Ability to handle large B2B accounts
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Basic proficiency in Excel / CRM / ERP

Qualifications

  • Graduate (MBA – Marketing preferred)
  • 5–10 years’ experience in structural steel sales (trading or manufacturing)
