Job Title: Assistant Professor – Computer Science Engineering (CSE)

Location: Landran, Sector 112, Mohali, Punjab
Employment Type: Full-Time (On-campus)
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹50,000 per month
About the Role
Chandigarh Group of Colleges is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor – Computer Science Engineering (CSE). We are looking for passionate academicians who are committed to teaching excellence, student mentorship, research, and academic development.
The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge in Computer Science Engineering and specialization areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Robotics.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures in core Computer Science Engineering subjects and specialized domains such as AI/ML and Robotics
- Develop course materials, assignments, assessments, and lab content
- Mentor students in academics, projects, internships, and career development
- Guide student projects, research activities, and innovation initiatives
- Participate in curriculum development and departmental academic planning
- Contribute to research publications, seminars, workshops, and faculty development activities
- Support departmental accreditation, academic administration, and institutional initiatives
- Maintain academic records and ensure quality teaching standards
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech and M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) with a minimum of 60% marks
- Ph.D. in CSE is preferred
- Prior teaching or relevant industry experience will be an added advantage
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Passion for teaching, research, and student engagement
