Location: Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh

Job Responsibilities

Drive bulk project sales of Tata Steel TMT and Binding Wire by identifying and acquiring new construction and infrastructure projects. Build strong relationships with developers, EPC contractors, consultants, and site engineers to ensure project orders are closed efficiently. Coordinate with plant operations and logistics for on-time delivery and customized steel solutions (cut-and-bend, CTL, weldmesh). Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and project pipelines to achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and client retention. Ideal candidate has a civil engineering background, experience in project/infrastructure sales, and strong negotiation and technical sales skills.

Project Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and onboard new construction and infrastructure projects in the territory.
  • Lead sales closure for bulk project orders of Tata Steel TMT and binding wire.
  • Promote value-added offerings from group plants:
  • Map and track upcoming government & private tenders and mega projects.

Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Build strong engagement with:
    • Real estate developers
    • EPC & civil contractors
    • Structural consultants & architects
    • Purchase & procurement teams
    • Site engineers & project managers
  • Conduct technical sales presentations at project offices and sites.

Sales Planning & Execution:

  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare project sales pipeline reports and maintain CRM updates.
  • Implement account-specific sales strategies for large clients.

Site Coordination & Technical Support

  • Coordinate with plant operations & logistics for:
    • Order processing
    • Cut & bend scheduling
    • Dispatch timelines
    • On-site delivery requirements
  • Address technical queries related to steel specifications and bar scheduling.

Commercial & Pricing Management:

  • Provide competitive project pricing while maintaining profitability.
  • Negotiate payment terms, delivery schedules, and order conditions.
  • Coordinate for credit approvals and ensure timely collections.

Market Intelligence & Competitor Tracking:

  • Monitor competitor pricing, project penetration, and supply chain trends.
  • Track consumption patterns for TMT and binding wire at project sites.

Desired Academic Qualifications

  • Graduation and Masters in any discipline.

Desired Work Experience

  • 5-7 years in steel project sales / infrastructure sales / B2B bulk sales
