Job Description
- Make outbound calls to patients to collect outstanding balances
- Follow up with insurance companies to resolve claim denials
- Update patient accounts with accurate information
- Review and analyze patient accounts for errors or discrepancies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations and billing procedures
- Collaborate with billing department to ensure accurate billing and collections
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and insurance companies
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly collection goals
- Document all communications and actions taken in patient accounts
- Work closely with team members to achieve department goals and objectives
