Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
§ Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and expense reports.
§ Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and accounted for.
§ Expense Management: Review and process expense, ensuring compliance with company policies and proper expense classification.
§ Data Entry: Enter financial data into Oracle R12 Accounting Software, maintaining accuracy and consistency.
§ Financial Reporting: Assist in generating financial reports, statements, and summaries as required by management.
§ Vendor Management: Maintain vendor Master, ensuring timely payment and addressing any billing discrepancies.
§ Assist in Auditing: During financial audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
§ Compliance: Stay updated on GST, TDS and accounting standards to ensure compliance in financial transactions and reporting.
§ Support Month-End and Year-End Closures: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including provision and reconciliation tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance.
· Proven experience (usually 2-4 years)/ (\5-7 Years)in an accounting or finance role.
· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle) and MS Excel.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping.
· Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
· Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies or issues in financial records.
· Analytical skills to assist in financial analysis and reporting.
