Job Description
To conduct and manage market research in exploring the markets brand coordination with Chief Operating Officer • Explore and tap all desired institutions Govt and non govt for fodder seed sales under SIRA brand • To design and provide all related promotional material for SIRA brand to the concerned sales team. • To Identify segments, trait requirements, recognize changing farmer preferences for designated crops And update the same on regular basis. • To observe competitor’s new product for its strengths and weaknesses and design a strategy accordingly • To coordinate with SAUs and other related institutions to get timely update on new product release for fodder crops To provide product knowledge along with strengths and weaknesses to the sales & marketing team, trade as well as farmers of new entries at the time of commercial launch and also refresh the current knowledge about the existing products. • To extend functional guidance to all sales and marketing team with a focus on TM and Project Officers /Field Sales Staff). To actively participate in product promotion activities. • To assess and forecast the future trends in fodder industry and accordingly apprise the R&D team for futuristic changes in their programme. • Create, maintain and monitor a base of market information for marketing - analysis of market, value chain, customers, competitors, influencers, trends & developments, price levels, for providing inputs to the concerned on critical factors on what it takes to win and make crop/ product strategies based on the same.(Should be Confined only to the areas of his region) • To prepare & monitor departmental budget. • To suggest the suitable product USPs and its effective communication methodology
