About the Role
We are looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist who is highly data-driven and focused on scaling campaigns, improving ROI, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
This is a specialist performance marketing role, focused primarily on paid advertising rather than a generalist digital marketing profile. The selected candidate will own end-to-end performance marketing for multiple D2C brands, managing significant advertising budgets across Search and Social platforms with clear accountability for performance, insights, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, optimize, and scale paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Manage Search and Social campaigns across multiple D2C/e-commerce accounts.
- Handle approximately 5 active clients, with an average monthly advertising spend of ₹3–5 lakhs per client.
- Understand client business goals and translate them into data-driven performance marketing strategies.
- Monitor campaign performance on a daily basis and identify opportunities for scaling and cost optimization.
- Analyze campaign data to identify performance trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Optimize campaigns based on relevant performance metrics, conversion data, audience behavior, and business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for creative improvement and provide inputs for ad creatives and copy.
- Own daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting for assigned clients.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and actionable performance insights and recommendations.
- Present campaign performance, learnings, and recommendations to clients in a structured and confident manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams on creative strategy, ad copy direction, and feed optimization.
- Stay updated with advertising platform changes, industry trends, and performance marketing best practices.
- Manage multiple clients, deadlines, budgets, and performance targets simultaneously.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Performance Marketing.
- Proven experience working with D2C/e-commerce brands or within a digital marketing agency.
- Demonstrated experience managing monthly advertising budgets of ₹5 lakhs or more.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Strong understanding of Search and Social performance funnels, including TOF, MOF, and BOF.
- Good understanding of attribution, campaign measurement, conversion tracking, and performance analysis.
- Hands-on experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager (GTM) setup and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert campaign data into actionable business decisions.
- Excellent client communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients, tight deadlines, advertising budgets, and performance pressure.
Good to Have
- Experience managing both e-commerce and lead-generation campaigns.
- Experience with feed optimization for large product catalogs.
- Knowledge of Google Merchant Center and Meta Catalogs.
- Ability to guide or review creative direction and evaluate ad copy performance.
- Experience with additional advertising platforms such as Bing Ads, Snapchat Ads, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with D2C brands across multiple categories.
