Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Accountant
Location: Lajpat Nagar
Department: Finance & Account
Job Summary:
The Assistant Accountant will support the finance and accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial statements, ledgers, and reports.
- Post journal entries, process invoices, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Assist with tax filings, audits, and compliance-related documentation.
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documents.
- Provide support in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as required.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and m s word
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- SHOULD KNOW TALLY SOFTWARE
Experience:
- 3-4 years of experience in accounting/finance.
Salary- 28,000
