The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. This role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The Civil Engineer will also be responsible for conducting site visits, performing calculations, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail are essential for success in this position. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, as well as relevant work experience in the construction industry. Professional licensure and proficiency in AutoCAD are preferred.

Job Description

- Design and oversee construction projects from conception to completion
- Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations
- Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work schedules
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor progress and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Solve complex engineering problems and provide technical advice
- Participate in project meetings and communicate with clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential clients
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology
