WCPL is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining financial records, and conducting financial analysis. The Accountant will work closely with other team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting, as well as assist with budgeting and forecasting. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from various departments are essential. The successful candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance, along with relevant work experience. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel are required. Job Description

- Prepare and analyze financial reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Handle quarterly and annual audits
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
- Prepare tax returns and assist with tax planning
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations
- Develop and implement accounting procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial processes
