Job Description
- Lead and manage the Quality Control Department to ensure the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement QC plans, strategies, and procedures for raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
- Oversee resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and facilities, to optimize QC processes.
- Coordinate and conduct training programs, ensuring proficiency and adherence to protocols.
- Review and approve RM/PM/IP/FP/Stability/Water/Misc documents, SOPs, and specifications
- Provide guidance on method validation, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
- Investigate and address deviations, OOS, OOT, incidents, CAPA, and change controls promptly.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate QC processes with organizational objectives.
- Manage correspondence and interactions with regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing efficiency enhancements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to maintain a state-of-the-art QC program.
- Ensure the QC team operates in compliance with cGMP, GLP, and other relevant quality standards.
- Conduct regular reviews of QC processes, performance metrics, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and implement improvements.
Qualification and Skils
- B.Sc/M.sc degree in a related field
- Proven experience as quality control manager within the pharmaceutical or related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities.
